When members seek care for their hearing, they want to know their provider is taking all the right steps to keep them safe. That's why we've added the 'COVID-19 protocols' badge to our online Location Finder for locations that completed Amplifon's COVID-19 safety attestation.
The attestation was sent via email through Docusign in August 2020.
The attestation identifies Amplifon Hearing Health Care locations that have implemented health and safety hygiene protocols to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission and included the following confirmations:
- Following the guidance of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for sanitation, safety, social distancing, and screening protocols
- Staggering appointments to reduce the number of people in the location at one time and allowing time for proper cleaning between appointments
- Practicing respiratory etiquette and proper hand hygiene with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and face masks
- Routinely cleaning frequently touched surfaces and objects
- Staying home if not feeling well
