TRICARE offers comprehensive hearing benefits, but coverage is dependent on your duty status and hearing loss level. Hearing aid coverage typically applies to active-duty service members, their families, and retirees who meet strict clinical criteria.

Part 2: Medicare, Seniors & Financial Aid
Does Medicare cover hearing aids?
Original Medicare (Parts A and B) does not cover the cost of routine hearing aids or diagnostic hearing-aid fitting exams. Original Medicare does cover seeing an audiologist for hearing tests (tests for imbalance not included) once every 12 months without a physician's order. Many private Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans offer robust, bundled vision, dental, and hearing benefits.
